course summary: Recognizing and responding to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies in adults, infants & children

• This course requires you to complete the corresponding online course prior to attending the selected in-person skills evaluation.
• The online course link & instructions will be emailed to you after you complete the registration process.
• If you do not have the online course completed before attending your skills evaluation date, you will need to reschedule and are subject to a $25 rescheduling fee.

Part 1 – ONLINE COURSE

Once your registration is complete, you will receive a post-registration confirmation email. Please check spam/junk or promotions for this email from Lifework Education. This email includes directions and a link to take the online course through the Red Cross student portal for blended learning.

You must complete the online course before your scheduled skills evaluation.

Part 2 – SKILLS EVALUATION

Bring proof of online course completion to the skills class to show the instructor at check in. The online course needs to be completed within 90 days of your skills evaluation. A completion date more than 90 days will result in a need to reschedule which is subject to a $25 fee.

Certification cards will be emailed within 48 normal business hours after successful completion of both the online course and in-person skills course.
